Kitchen Display System

Every order on screen.
Nothing falls through.

The moment a customer or staff member places an order, it appears on the kitchen screen. No dockets to print, no shouting across the pass, no orders going missing in a busy service.

New

In Progress
✓ Ready
Done

Works on any screen you already have.

No hardware to buy. No new equipment to install. The kitchen display runs in any browser — on the monitor, tablet, or old iPad sitting in your kitchen right now. Plug it in and you're done.

📱
Tablet
2 × 3 grid — 6 tickets

6-ticket view optimised for a tablet propped up on the pass. Larger touch targets, easier to tap mid-service. Works on any iPad, Android tablet, or Samsung.

📱
Phone
Full-screen cards, swipe

One full-screen card per order. Swipe through the queue. Works in a pinch — a spare phone propped up near the kitchen is enough to get started today.

The most common setup: a spare tablet on a stand at the pass, or an old monitor mounted to the kitchen wall. Either works. If you already have a screen in the kitchen, you're already set up — no extra cost, no installation, no wait.

What actually changes in your kitchen.

Not just a different way to see orders — a different way to run the kitchen. Here's what shifts when every order is on screen.

❌ Paper dockets
📠Printer jams or runs out of paper at peak service
🔊Staff shout across the pass to relay order details
📋Allergy notes hand-written — easy to miss
🗂️Old dockets pile up — hard to tell what's done
No timer — hard to know which orders are running late
💸Paper, ink, printer maintenance are ongoing costs
✓ Kitchen display
Order appears on screen the instant it's placed
🔇Kitchen reads the ticket — no relaying needed
⚠️Allergy notes appear on the ticket in writing, every time
🟢New / In Progress / Done — clear at a glance
⏱️Live age timer on every ticket — turns red when overdue
🆓Included in your OnlineMenu subscription — nothing extra

From the moment an order is placed to the moment it leaves the kitchen.

When a customer places an order from their table — or a staff member places one on the floor — it appears on the kitchen screen within seconds. No action needed from the front of house. Built for the pace of a busy Saturday in a two-person kitchen.

Staff ordering works from any phone or tablet on the floor — no return trip to the counter. See how staff ordering works →

The kitchen taps Start to acknowledge the order and move it to In Progress. When it's ready, they tap Ready. The order moves to Done. It's still visible until dismissed — so nothing accidentally disappears while the plate is still on the pass.

  • Polls automatically — new orders appear without refreshing
  • Tap any ticket to expand the full item list in an overlay
  • Live age timer — amber at 5 minutes, red at 10
  • Allergy and special request notes shown prominently on the ticket
  • Order type shown on every ticket: dine-in, pickup, or staff order
  • Full order history — reopen any completed order in seconds

The kitchen display is not an add-on.

Every OnlineMenu subscription includes the kitchen display system. No extra module to buy, no hardware tier, no setup fee beyond the one-off $195 launch fee. It's part of the platform — because a table ordering system that doesn't talk to the kitchen isn't actually solving the problem.
